Course Description

In this talk, author Eric Wagner takes us to the waters off the Washington coast to meet rhinoceros auklets, tufted puffins, shearwaters, and the scientists who study them. Through close observation of seabirds and their changing ocean habitat, he reveals a remarkable ecosystem under pressure—and the complex entanglement of human and natural histories.
