Course Description
What happens to a family's finances when dementia arrives? Most people never think to ask, but the answer, as health economist Dr. Jing Li's research has found, is striking. In this talk, Dr. Li shares what large-scale data reveal about wealth and dementia, why the economic story has been overlooked, and how artificial intelligence from early detection algorithms to caregiving robots may change what's possible for aging Americans and their families.
