Mercer Island is host to some 200 different species of birds, but some birds are truly special. They define who we are and where we live. In short, they are iconic. In the winter, four families of birds qualify: owls, woodpeckers, eagles, and gulls. Come hear master birder Connie Sidles open a window into the wondrous lives of these marvelous birds.
